之前Google earth出來之後可以看各國的俯視圖，感覺很新奇，但後來想想除了開飛機或小鳥之外，很少人是以那樣的角度看地面，Google聽到了，所以開發出 Google map street view，就是我們一般人開車走路可見的角度。

Citizenship test unveiled A new citizenship test will ensure Australia strikes the right balance between diversity and integration of people hoping to become Australian, Immigration Minister Kevin Andrews says. The government today released a 40-page draft guide detailing what it regards as the 10 essential Australian values every aspiring citizen must embrace. The pamphlet, which will be handed to all new citizenship applicants, also summarises the nation's history, its political institutions, economic, cultural and indigenous history. But in order to become a citizen, migrants will need to correctly answer at least 12 out of 20 questions, such as how members of parliament are chosen and the year in which European settlement of Australia began.

今年(2007)七月一日起，澳大利亞商工辦事處將取消電子旅遊簽證(Electronic Travel Authority - ETA )的收費，這表示自七月一日起，民眾申請這類別的簽證將不需繳交任何申請費用。
據澳大利亞簽證處陳淳處長(Catherine Genn)表示，目前澳洲簽證高達97%是以電子旅遊簽證的型式簽發，去年澳大利亞簽證處一共簽發了約8萬張簽證，其中有高達7萬7千張的電子旅遊簽證，比例相當高。 電子旅遊簽證目前的申請費用為新台幣1000元整，這表示自七月一日起，每年有數萬申請者將因此受惠。

平平都是16～20，
怎麼差那麼多！！

其實這張剪報是2001年5月6日我從Sunday Telegraph第32版剪下來的，回想當時的想法，應該是想藉由這張剪報了解澳洲50大的企業，至少在談話的時候比較知道人家在說什麼，在路上看到 ”扛棒”的時候也比較知道這家公司到底是做什麼的，但是一直到現在，50大的企業中，我也不過知道10家在幹什麼而已，可見有目標是不夠的，還要有施行的計畫並確實落實，要不然目標還是目標，永遠都不會達成。

明天起雪梨與台灣時差三小時。
其實並不是「整個澳洲」都有日光節約時間，Queensland、Western Australia、North Territory都沒有。

離開雪梨前，買了很多禮物，其中包含親戚的、長官的、同事的、岳父岳母的，以及朋友託買的，連同近三年出國累積的家當，一起連寄帶托運搬回台灣。
也因為此，自己的禮物還遺留在雪梨市區。
這次老婆特地從雪梨帶給我一份禮物－－Didgeridoo音樂CD。

聽老婆說，這個團體Koomurri當天是在TheRocks表演，買CD還可當場簽名。

果然是在雪梨downtown！！
